Tanja Lippert Photography     Jenny, Professional Wedding Consultant and Lead Associate for Nicole D’Ambra Wedding Consulting, has been actively involved with the Bay Area wedding industry for over 6 years. She has worked under extraordinary photographers, florists, and event planners before joining the Nicole D’Ambra Wedding Consulting staff. In addition to being a sister company, Jennifer contributes many talents to the team. A woman of many skills, she is an organized consultant who can lead and direct staff in order to get the job done. Her business-minded approach gives her the ability to work fast yet efficiently. She has the ability to gently guide her clients in the right direction and is always happy to answer any questions they may have. Jennifer enjoys being in the event industry because it’s creative and exciting. “My favorite thing about being involved in weddings is being apart of a life changing event and seeing how happy the couple is.” She brings great pride in what she does and can’t imagine doing anything else. Besides coordinating weddings and events, Jenny is also the Director of Operations for Satura Cakes. Since joining the Satura team in 2005, she has assisted in opening up retail stores in the Bay Area and Honolulu, as well as launching their wedding & catering business. Jennifer is a member and on the board of the ACPWC and NACE. She graduated from Rice University with a B.A. in Managerial Studies and Visual Arts after also competing as a Division I athlete in swimming. Her interests include participating in triathlons and relaxing on a beach somewhere abroad.
     Nicole Tran, Lead Associate for Nicole D’Ambra Wedding Consulting has been Professionally Trained by the ACPWC since 2005. Unlike most people who enter the event business after planning their own wedding, Nicole began her love of weddings when she attended them only as a guest. “I was always excited at all the small little details and ideas that the couple came up with, from the escort cards, cake, favors, flowers down to the last details of the linens.” She has been with Nicole D’Ambra since the company’s inception and plays a key role in ensuring that each of the events are flawlessly executed. She assumes the responsibility of the right hand woman for Nicole D’Ambra allowing her to coordinate both the ceremony and reception at different locations. Nicole’s eagerness to be proactive and her quick thinking has enabled her to resolve unexpected challenges in order for couples to enjoy their day without a worry in the world. “What I love about weddings is the execution. It’s a challenge to make sure set up goes smoothly in a small time frame with constant interruptions and working hard with all the vendors to ensure everyone’s on the same page.” Her B.S. degree in Advertising from San Jose State University provides her a great eye for details and the ability to work in a fast pace environment with deadlines. Her dedication to making every event run effortlessly makes her an immense asset to the Nicole D’Ambra Wedding Consulting team. Nicole is a Bay Area native and loves to travel abroad. She’s been to countries like Vietnam, Caribbean, Argentina, Canada, Thailand, and all over Europe. She also loves attending music concerts and trying different ethnic foods at new restaurants. Her other hobbies include receiving relaxing massages, retail therapy and snapping photos to enhance her photography skills. As a newly engaged bride, she’s finally planning her own wedding this year!

Tanja Lippert Photography     Melissa, Supporting Associate, began her career in the event industry by coordinating numerous events on an academic level. She has experience planning functions such as birthdays, baby showers and bachelorette parties. Now her new love is planning weddings. “My favorite thing about weddings are that they are all different. I enjoy seeing all the creativity that the couples incorporate in their special days to make it unique.” You can count on Melissa to make sure your event runs smoothly because she gives so much care and attention to each couple she deals with. She always makes sure that the couples never know what is truly going on behind the scenes and goes out of her way to ensure the bride and groom attend to their guests and not the logistics. Melissa possesses a strong commitment to friendly customer service and has a professional, yet easy going demeanor. She is a super powerhouse when it comes to following the timeline, no matter how chaotic things are going on around her. Her smile and calmness is also a contributing attribute to the team even when she almost fell into a pond while setting up an escort card table! Melissa is in the process of completing her B.S. degree in Advertising but in the meantime enjoys baking, cooking and traveling to the Philippines to visit family. She is also a food connoisseur who loves giving her palate some new foods to try. Lastly, Melissa also finds happiness in trying out new recipes while spending time with her new husband!
     Mariel, Supporting Associate, brings patience, innovation, and thoughtfulness to the success of the Nicole D’Ambra staff. She has the ability to be extremely welcoming and approachable according to past couples, and makes them feel comfortable enough to ask for her assistance even if they have met her for the very first time the day of their wedding. She works discreetly and therefore unobtrusive to guests but is extremely precautious and doesn’t miss a detail. “I love witnessing the excitement and the happiness in the Bride and Groom’s eyes when the priest/officiant announces them husband and wife, especially after everything is sealed with a kiss.” Mariel possesses innovative ideas when it comes to the day of the event and is always watching out for what’s in the best interest of the Bride and Groom. “I love the idea of taking part in making the couples day as perfect as they imagined it to be and I would do anything possible to achieve this goal.” Mariel has completed her B.S. in General Biology and looks forward to tour Europe in the future. In her spare time she loves to read mystery novels and challenging herself at sudoku and crossword puzzles. After growing up taking care of her 3 little brothers, 3 nieces and nephew, she has a maternal nature about her and naturally thinks of others before herself.
