Dear Nicole,
It is with great pleasure that we write this letter. Ron and I are very much indebted to you for making our wedding day a true celebration. It has taken us a long time to write this because it paralyzed us to try and write all that we want to express about you and all that you’ve done.
Nicole, you have grace and patience, poise and diplomacy that are absolutely priceless which made for such a pleasant experience working with you. Many planners claim high “organization skills” but no one holds a candle to your talents here. You were such a maven with spreadsheets and scheduling that we never worried that a single step was missed. Somehow your ability to foresee situations (those good and challenging) and plan for them and share your experiences in a way that is considerate really set the tone of quality in your planning style.
It really is beyond belief that you were able to manage all the elements, people, timing and complexities of our wedding weekend with complete finesse and a smile! We had three different locations between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the 8-hour reception—not to mention the trolleys shuttling people from place to place! It made for a complex and challenging schedule, but we experienced everything without a hitch and had the time of our lives and so did our family and friends.
We want to also thank you for being so accommodating when some vendor/s presented challenges to you. You had the sensitivity to understand family politics and vendor relationships—you knew when you needed to prod just so and also when it was right to pull back and let others take the lead. It is so obvious that you cared very much that Ron and I were happy, that our wants and needs were met and that nothing compromised the quality and sentiment of our wedding celebration.
It was completely our honor to have worked with you and your assistant, Nicole Tran, to pull off what our families are calling the event to remember for many years to come. Many guests said that they felt special, like VIPs themselves, at our wedding and that is absolutely a testament to your hard work, diligence, and commitment to us in making an event to remember.
We are so indebted to your positive energy, tireless enthusiasm, and skillful talent as a planner, coordinator, and graceful representative during the planning stages beforehand and wedding day. Please count on us to help in any way to let everyone know how lucky they would be if they had the opportunity to work with you. You truly are someone extra special in an industry saturated with vendors who are not nearly as passionate. Guard your integrity, your unfailing positive energy, and reassuring smile because they put you head and shoulders far above the rest.
There is no doubt in our minds that you are a star. Soon you will be discovered more and more by others as fortunate! Thank you for being part of the most significant event of our lives.
